I am pleased to announce the publication of my new scholarly book with the American Psychological Association entitled “Dynamic Network Theory: How Social Networks Influence Goal Pursuit.” This monograph may be of interest to you because it is the first to theoretically and methodologically integrate the science of social networks and goal theory, which have remained largely and surprisingly separated literatures. Further, social network research, despite its exploding growth and popularity in the social sciences, has lacked this unification with psychological theory. Hence, new opportunities for social psychology exist within this theoretical and methodological interface.
